Watch This Space — Outer Space is Poised for a BIG Breakout Year in 2021
2020 has been a hard year for breaking out. COVID, Trump, the meteoric rise of Jonathan Majors — there was barely any breathing room for the rest of us. But in 2021, we here at Outer Space have got big things planned for you, our fans. Exciting new partnerships, big announcements, and exclusive merch are all on the horizon, so make sure to Watch This Space!
We’ll admit we’ve had a few swings and misses. We thought we really were breaking in when we got the Pentagon to pretty much admit that UFOs were a real thing — twice. Trump announced a whole service branch dedicated to us, but all that really ended up being was a marketing stint for a Netflix show that underutilized Lisa Kudrow. Finally, in an embarrassing effort last year, we had NASA drop that thirst trap of the Hubble Deep Field, but turns out no one found it too flattering (in our defense, the camera adds ten billion galaxies). Not a good time to Watch this Space.
But we’re breaking out of that funk. No more relying on Tom Delonge boosted posts or hoping Cosmos gets picked up for another season. Outer Space is taking matters into our own celestial hands, starting with some MAJOR collabs coming in 2021. And not like when we put all our eggs in the SpaceX basket… Seriously, Elon, if we wanted a Joe Rogan podcast shout out, we would’ve hocked our own meteorite supplements.
We’re talking A-listers — ever heard of Donald Glover? Josie Totah? Bet you’d kill to get an exclusive sneak peek of Lily Collins rocking the next-gen NASA spacesuit (Emily in Paris? More like Emily on the ISS!). Maybe you’re dying for a chance to be on the Artemis lunar exploration team for 2024 — did I hear “America’s Next Top Cosmonaut coming this summer to ABC”?
